I’m fighting to defend Social Security and Medicare because it’s the right thing to do.  

As a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, I understand the value of receiving a benefit you have earned. That’s why I will ensure Social Security and Medicare are always protected and never jeopardized.  

Regarding the upcoming debt ceiling, Social Security and Medicare are never something I will support cutting. I will stand up to every elected official on both sides of the aisle to protect that right. 

Bottom line: Social Security and Medicare are earned by the Americans who have paid into these programs. Iowa’s retirees have planned their futures around these earned benefits, and I will never vote to put that in jeopardy.
