Des Moines, Iowa — Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) kicked off his 2023 Farm Bill listening tour today with farmers in Creston and Union County. Rep. Nunn will be touring communities around the Iowa Third District to hear firsthand from farmers and everybody impacted by the Farm Bill as Congress begins drafting this once-every-five-year legislation. As a member of the Agriculture Committee, Rep. Nunn has a vital role in shaping the bill.
“Iowa farmers feed and fuel the world, and every Iowan is impacted by agriculture policy—whether it’s as part of the supply chain, in the grocery store checkout line, or at the dinner table,” said Rep. Nunn. “This listening tour is an opportunity for Iowans to have a seat at the table as we work to draft a bipartisan Farm Bill that helps drive down costs for families and provides food security for Americans.”
The listening tour will give Iowans a loud voice at the table. Over the next several months, listening sessions will be held across the district. To sign up for more information, visit Nunn.House.Gov/FarmBill.
