As a veteran and a current member of the Air Force Reserve, I know there is very little that is more important than supporting the servicemembers and veterans who stood up to defend our country. That’s why today was special for me and so many others who attended the Connecting Iowa’s Heroes: Veterans Resource Fair at the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum. Today’s attendees learned more about the resources and benefits afforded to the men and women who proudly served our country.
