🎡 Best Fair in the Nation

The Iowa State Fair is one of my favorite traditions — a time when people from every corner of our  state come together to celebrate community, agriculture, and the Iowa way of life.

Over the past few days, I’ve walked the fairgrounds, shaking hands and hearing directly from Iowans. We talked farming, neighborhood safety, and, of course, debated the best Fair food. I also heard from producers working to grow new markets for Iowa biofuels, parents navigating rising costs, and veterans continuing to serve their communities in remarkable ways.

One of the highlights of my week was joining the Veterans Day Parade, swapping stories with our servicemembers and thanking them for their unwavering commitment to our country.

The Iowa State Fair may only last for 11 days, but the conversations, connections, and ideas Iowans shared will drive our work in Congress long after the lights go down on the Grandstand. I’ll keep working to deliver real results for Iowans until we meet again next year.
