WHAT:
Rep. Nunn will announce federal funding secured to reconstruct Alice’s Road into a four-lane divided corridor featuring a landscaped median, dedicated bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and modernized stormwater infrastructure. The project will strengthen connectivity between Clive, Waukee, and Urbandale while supporting continued housing development, business investment, and economic growth in one central Iowa’s fastest-growing regions.
This investment builds on Rep. Nunn’s broader efforts to strengthen central Iowa’s transportation network. Earlier this year, he secured a $20 million investment to advance Phase II of DART’s Operations and Maintenance Facility, helping ensure the region’s infrastructure keeps pace with rapid growth.
