What’s an annuity? It’s a type of insurance product that helps turn savings into guaranteed income — like a personal pension.
Why it matters: For nearly 90 million households across the country, annuities offer steady monthly payments that help cover the costs of groceries, prescriptions, and gas.
To spotlight how important these tools are and encourage more families to take advantage of them, I introduced a resolution designating June as National Annuity Awareness Month.
