In just two years, the average price of a gallon of diesel fuel increased by 95%.

Additionally, in 2022, the average price of a gallon of gasoline reached its highest level ever recorded.
In Congress, I’m fighting to ensure Iowa’s farmers have the resources, certainty, and stability needed to succeed. That’s why, during the House Agriculture Committee hearing yesterday, I questioned key witnesses about inflation, and specifically, our push for permanent year-round E-15 as soon as possible to combat high prices at the gas pump.
