In just the last 2 years, the skyrocketing cost of goods and services has cost Iowa families $10,000 more. Executive orders alone have cost an estimated $8.3 billion and added 79.7 million hours of annual paperwork. Enough is enough. In order for America to get back on the right economic track, we need to get government out of the way.
That’s why I just voted to combat inflation with the REIN IN Act. This bill would expose the inflationary impacts of executive orders so that the White House cannot bypass Congress on policies that will have a huge impact on our economy and the cost of living for American families.
This is just the start. As your representative in Congress, I will keep fighting to make our government more efficient, effective, and accountable!
