Our four-legged family members deserve dignity and care. That’s why I am working to holding accountable the departments charged with ensuring furry family members have safe and healthy living conditions.
So far, we’ve put forward two bills to keep dogs safe: The Goldie’s Act and the Puppy Protection Act. These bills will ensure our dogs are protected against puppy mills:

The Goldie’s Act would require more frequent investigations, ensure thorough reporting of violations, and empower inspectors to remove dogs from harmful situations.

The Puppy Protection Act would codify best practices so that every dog and puppy has a safe living environment with access to regular veterinary checkups, a healthy diet, and more.
