Do you want to visit our nation’s capital?

I wanted to share with you a fun video from last week. I ran into the Lloyd family from West Des Moines on their tour of the U.S. Capitol!

When I’m not voting or attending committee hearings, much of my days in Washington, D.C. are spent meeting with Iowans who are here to talk about legislation or tour the Capitol. Fun Fact: More than 3 million people tour the U.S. Capitol each year. On the tour, you can see the House floor and many other historic rooms within the Capitol. Ensuring the People’s House is accessible and accountable to the American people is important to the work we do here.
