Cutting through the noise in Washington

There was heightened drama in Washington, D.C. this week with late night votes and work through the weekend to ensure our military gets paid, our border security is funded, and our economy is protected. In a move that was fit for a sitcom, a Member of Congress even pulled a fire alarm to try to delay a vote, but the government will not shut down.  

I’m leading the effort to cut wasteful spending, keep critical services for Iowans from being slashed, and hold Washington, D.C. accountable to you.
