Access to affordable healthcare is critically important for every Iowan. Unfortunately, right now too many Iowa families are struggling to afford necessary health care due to the out-of-control costs of prescription drugs.
That’s why I’m leading bipartisan legislation to create more transparency for Iowa patients, families, and providers as they make critical care decisions. The Drug-Price Transparency for Consumers Act will require that advertisements for prescription drugs disclose the price tag on the drugs they’re advertising.
This bill will arm patients and providers with needed information as they consider the best treatment options for their health needs. I’ll keep fighting to ensure you have the information you need to make the best decision for you and your family.
