I spent today visiting with Iowans who were victims of a recent crime spree that resulted in several American flag burnings in Altoona.
The American flag is a beacon of hope and freedom. I wanted to ensure Old Glory would continue to fly on these homes, so I was honored to personally deliver replacements.
The Altoona Police Department and Fire Marshall are working hard to get to the bottom of these crimes, and as that work continues, I’m glad to be able to play a small part to keep the stars and stripes flying proudly!
