Innovative, veteran-owned businesses are popping up across the country and right here in our community. I recently was able to visit Overtons in Winterset to discuss how their aviation school is thriving to train the next generation of pilots.
I want to see more veteran-owned businesses like this one succeed. That’s why I just voted to pass the Successful Entrepreneurship for Reservists and Veterans (SERV) Act. This important legislation will bolster current veteran-owned businesses across our community and provide more assistance to help veterans open new businesses. Specifically, the bill will:
