We passed a resolution today calling for the administration to fix our border crisis immediately! Over past three years, there have been more than 6.5 million illegal crossings of our Southern Border. The broken policies from D.C. have encouraged terrorists, drug traffickers, and millions of illegal immigrants to cross our border. We must secure our border to keep communities safe.
Our communities in Iowa will be impacted with the crisis at our borders with concerns of security and safety. We have seen that children in schools of New York were sent home for virtual schooling to make space to host illegal migrants in the schools. It wouldn’t take too long for this crisis to reach Iowa. With the passage of this resolution today, I hope that the administration will act right away to secure our border and keep our communities safe.
