I am thrilled to announce that we have secured a $5 million federal investment in the Des Moines International Airport.
We all know that air travel can be a pain – from delayed flights to poor customer service and tight seats – this grant funding will help improve the Des Moines Airport terminal to make traveling easier and more comfortable for Iowans and visitors to our state.
These funds will bring the airport one step closer to funding the new terminal to support accessibility and efficiency. I’ll continue to pursue every opportunity to improve Iowa’s travel options.
