One of the reasons I prioritize spending time in all 21 counties in our district is so I can hear directly from Iowans on how to better serve families, farmers, and communities.
This past week, I continued on my all-district 21 county tour in Southwestern Iowa. Along the way, I hosted a community discussion in Atlantic to address the growing opioid epidemic in rural Iowa. In Bedford, I held another Farm Bill Listening Session. Finally, I visited with folks at the Head Start classroom in Red Oak.
