It is an honor to serve you in Congress and highlight your stories. This past week, I hosted the Kidd family from Des Moines for President Biden’s annual State of the Union. Their story highlights the need to protect our communities from the growing opioid epidemic.
Keeping our communities safe includes addressing the open border, and that’s why this past week I helped pass bipartisan legislation to hold this Administration accountable for their self-inflicted crisis. Finally, I am excited to announce my resource fair for veterans on March 23.
