Unnecessary mandates are making it harder for Iowa’s job creators.

Unelected bureaucrats are sitting in their ivory towers in D.C., throwing down unreasonable and unrealistic mandates for Iowa’s small businesses. It’s completely unacceptable.

There are more than 270,000 small businesses in Iowa – and they employ over half of the workforce in our state. These job creators have a lot that they are up against right now: record inflation, workforce shortages, and supply chain issues. In the last year alone, the Administration has implemented more than 5,000 pages worth of bureaucratic red tape mandates on companies across the country.

Let me be clear: These D.C. bureaucrats don’t know how business is done in Iowa and, frankly, they don’t care. I’ll keep fighting to push back on their unnecessary and costly regulations that make it harder for businesses to turn the key in the door every day.
