We have an obligation to ensure that public education is meeting the needs of every single child. That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Pre-K for Kids Act, which would invest in state-run pre-k programs that serve low-income families.
Studies show that our children have a greater chance for success when they are exposed earlier in life to educational learning. By sending our kids to a pre-k program, we can improve their reading, speech, and so much more so they can thrive in the future.
Bottom Line: Every Iowan, regardless of zip code or income deserves access to affordable education opportunities.
