21,000 Babies

I want to share some startling numbers with you:

  • 21,000 ➡️ The number of babies that are stillborn each year in the U.S.
  • 1 in 4 ➡️ That’s how many stillbirths could have been prevented.

We have work to do to solve this crisis and improve prenatal health. That’s why I championed the Maternal and Child Health Stillborn Prevention Act to increase funding for stillbirth research and prevention.

This simple bill that can help save the lives of thousands of babies passed the House of Representatives today!

Bottom Line: As a father of six, I know there is nothing more important than a healthy baby for a parent. We must work together to improve prenatal care in our country.
