“There is no greater love than this—that a man should lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13
Three years ago, thirteen American servicemembers made the ultimate sacrifice while serving at the Kabul Airport. Today, their families received the Congressional Gold Medal in honor of their sacrifice. We must never forget their names.
This loss of live could have been prevented. And yet, there still has been no accountability for the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Just this week, a new report was released on the Biden-Harris Administration’s failures during the withdrawal. Here’s the worst part:
Absolutely unacceptable. America’s servicemembers, veterans, friends, and allies deserved better.
I will never stop fighting for accountability for every veteran and servicemember who served in Afghanistan. And I will never forget the names of the thirteen brothers and sisters in uniform who we lost.
