I spent time today visiting Iowans throughout our community, including in Davis County.
While in Bloomfield, I stopped by Chevron Phillips to hear directly from employees about the most important issues to them – primarily keeping good paying jobs here in our community. In Congress, I’ll keep fighting to promote hands-on training opportunities, like apprenticeships and training programs, so that Iowans can keep building things right here in our community!

Hearing firsthand from Iowans is one of my favorite parts of serving as your Congressman. I also spent time today in:
- Ottumwa, where I stopped by a local BBQ shop for a quick bite and to talk with Iowans about the issues that matter most to them.
- Eddyville, where I learned more about how we can keep good paying manufacturing jobs right here in Iowa.
