Time for the D.C. bureaucracy to face the music! The American people have returned to work – and federal employees must too.
Unfortunately, a recent study found that most federal offices are only at 25% capacity! Meanwhile, bureaucrats are working remotely while receiving a bonus for serving in an office in an expensive city, like Washington, D.C.
Look, if Iowa farmers show up to work in the field every day – the people who are paid by their tax dollars should show up to work every day too. That’s why I just cosponsored the Federal Employee Return to Work Act to cut waste, fraud, and abuse in our federal government. This critical bill will require federal employees to return to the office – just like most American workers nationwide.
This bill will deliver exactly what our government needs: accountability, transparency, and common sense.
