If Congress doesn’t act, Iowa families are at risk of a 22% tax hike at the end of 2025. We cannot allow that to happen. Skyrocketing inflation cost Iowa families $13,000 extra last year – if taxes continue to increase, it’ll only make it harder for Iowans to make ends meet.
Strengthening the economy starts by ensuring Iowa families have more of their hard-earned money in their pockets. With more money in their pockets, families can spend it on their children and invest in our community – growing the local economy. Iowa is a prime example. While I was in the state house, we passed the biggest tax cuts in state history, stimulating economic growth.
Today, I spoke to the Ways and Means Committee to discuss the critical need to keep taxes low for Iowa parents, farmers, and small business owners. Check it out ⬇️
Bottom Line: I am committed to fighting for legislation that puts Iowans first while fixing our broken economy. We must pass tax relief for the hardworking families, farmers, and small businesses of Iowa.
