Right now, they’re facing the worst decline in farm income in 15 years: commodity prices are down, input costs are up, and financial pressures are mounting. Political games in D.C. have prevented real progress on a Farm Bill that puts Iowa’s farmers first, but I’m not backing down from the fight.
Today, I spoke at the House Agriculture Committee about the urgent need to pass a strong Farm Bill that provides real relief to protect family farms and ensure rural communities flourish.
