Iowa’s farmers feed our families and fuel our nation, but they often take the hardest hit when disaster strikes. Floods, storms, and other natural disasters don’t just damage crops and land; they shake up our entire food and fuel supply.

That’s why I’m leading a bipartisan effort to change how we help our farmers recover. The Flooding Prevention, Assessment, and Restoration Act would strengthen disaster recovery efforts so farmers and rural communities can build back stronger, not just return to the way things were.
Bottom Line: Iowa farmers don’t just rebuild – they come back stronger after a disaster strikes our communities.
