Gas prices impact the cost of literally everything:
- We use gas to transport food from the farm to the store.
- We use gas to deliver your latest online shopping spree.
- We use gas to get our kids to and from school every day.
We need to do something to lower gas costs – and in Iowa, we have a homegrown solution. E15 can provide a cheaper option at the pump for any Iowan on the road.
That’s why I cosponsored new legislation to unleash this homegrown, all-American energy source by allowing year-round, nationwide sales of E15. This will lower prices for families and as a bonus, support Iowa’s corn farmers.
