Why it matters:
📦 Outdated weight limits are driving up costs. Without reclassifying Iowa Hwy 5, ag and construction haulers are forced onto longer, less efficient routes.
📈 Greater Des Moines is booming. As one of the fastest-growing metros in the Midwest, improving mobility on Iowa Hwy 5 will fuel more jobs, more access, and more growth.
