🧼 Clean Up Congress

In 2023, a new stock trading app went viral for a new feature — the “Pelosi Tracker” — which let users copy trades from former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and netted a 45% return in its first year.

The problem: Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle took advantage of inside information to make over $200 million in the market last year, while Iowa families were squeezed by inflation and high interest rates.

Last week, I spoke on the House floor to explain why I sold every stock I ownedwhen I was elected to Congress and why every Member should be held to the same standard.

The solution: My bipartisan No Corruption in Government Act takes direct aim at corruption by banning politicians and their spouses from trading stocks while in office. President Trump and Speaker Johnson have both endorsed a stock trading ban. My bill will get it done.

Bottom Line: Public service should be about serving the people, not playing the markets. I’m fighting to make that the law.
