Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of the United States Army—America’s oldest fighting force.
From the fields of Valley Forge to the frontlines today, Army soldiers have answered the call with honor—no matter the mission, no matter the cost. As a Colonel in the Air Force, I may give them grief for still calling us the “junior service,” but I’ve seen firsthand: there’s no tougher team to have on your side.

Bottom Line: For 250 years, the U.S. Army has stood between freedom and tyranny. Today, we stand to honor that legacy and every soldier who has worn the uniform to defend liberty at home and abroad.
