💼 Thriving Main Street

Iowa’s hometown businesses shouldn’t have to fight twice as hard as the big coastal firms to grow.

The House just unanimously passed my bipartisan ELEVATE Act—a commonsense fix to help Iowa entrepreneurs raise capital, hire workers, and grow here at home.

Why it matters: Today, small and mid-sized businesses must submit three years of audited financials to open their company to new investment. This is an expensive hurdle that benefits Wall Street and squeezes out Main Street.

Watch my remarks on the House floor earlier today in support of the ELEVATE Act:

The ELEVATE Act would:
✅ Cut unnecessary red tape for small IPOs
✅ Let startups file just two years of audited data
✅ Unlock capital to fuel Iowa-grown innovation and jobs

Bottom Line: Main Street shouldn’t be at a disadvantage to Wall Street and big coastal firms. I’ll keep fighting to give Iowa businesses a fair shot to raise capital, grow, and compete.
