✍️ What tax cuts mean for Iowa

Last weekend, President Trump signed the largest tax cut in American history into law. I was proud to help lead this effort because it puts more money back in the hands of Iowa families, farmers, and small businesses.

I broke down exactly what’s in the bill—and what it means for Iowa families—in a new op-ed for the Des Moines Register.

This bill increases the Child Tax Credit, eliminates taxes on tips and overtime, expands support for adoption, delivers $65 billion in relief for farmers, and gives small businesses the certainty they need to grow.

Most importantly, it reflects what we’ve already proven in Iowa: when you trust people with more of their own paycheck, they reinvest in their homes, businesses, families, and communities.

Bottom Line: This is your money, not the government’s, and you know how to spend it better than Washington does. I’ll keep bringing Iowa’s proven ideas to D.C. to make sure our families and communities come first.
