Whether you’re a Cyclone or a Hawkeye, CyHawk Saturday is bigger than football — it’s about community, tradition, and everything that makes Iowa home.
From the tailgates to the packed stands draped in black and gold or cardinal and white, Saturday’s showdown once again proved: nobody does college football like Iowa.
This year, the game carried extra meaning for our family. My daughter Addi just started her freshman year at Iowa State. Spending the day at Jack Trice Stadium with her, the Nunn clan, and Iowans from every corner of the state made this CyHawk tradition one to remember.

I look forward to next year’s showdown at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, where we’ll write the next chapter in this great Iowa rivalry.
