🦃 Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a reminder of the values that make Iowa home: families gathered around the kitchen table (and the TV watching football), neighbors looking out for one another, and communities rolling up their sleeves to keep Iowa strong.

Today, many of us will sit down with loved ones, reflect on the year behind us, and share what we’re most grateful for.

I recorded a short message in that same spirit — about what I’m thankful for this year and how it continues to fuel our work in Washington on behalf of Iowa families. ⬇️

We also pause to salute the 1,800 Iowa National Guardsmen currently deployed overseas as part of Operation Inherent Resolve — and their families, who will have an empty seat at the table today. Their sacrifice allows us to gather in peace and safety, and that’s a debt we can never fully repay.

Bottom Line: From my family to yours, may your Thanksgiving be filled with peace, gratitude, and time with the people you love. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve you — today and every day.
