Raising a family in Iowa has real advantages — strong schools, tight-knit neighborhoods, and a deep-rooted sense of community. We work hard, live within our means, and plan for the future.
The problem is that Washington doesn’t. Years of overspending, overregulation, and inflation have driven up the cost of everything from groceries to housing – stretching family budgets to the limit.
Why it matters: When a young couple can’t afford a starter home, when families can’t save for the future, and when good jobs move elsewhere, the promise of the American Dream slips further out of reach.
