⛽ Not Just Talk — We’re Fighting for E15

Let’s be clear: D.C. doesn’t need another debate on biofuels — we need year-round E15, and we need it now.

For years, Washington insiders have promised certainty for homegrown energy. Last week, it was our shot to finally deliver. Instead, at the eleventh hour, the bipartisan E15 language we helped negotiate was stripped out behind closed doors.

I didn’t let it slide. Here’s what we did:

Led the fight to include permanent, year-round E15 in the federal funding bill

Withheld my support until Speaker Johnson committed to an E15 meeting with the White House and Secretary of Agriculture

📅 Forced a commitment on a House vote on permanent E15 access this spring

The good news: The pressure is working. President Trump returned to Iowa this week and pledged to sign year-round E15 into law the moment Congress sends it to his desk.

What’s next: The time for talk is over. We have the President’s support, a firm commitment from the Speaker, and a clear deadline to bring this to a vote. Iowans can expect good news — and soon.

Bottom Line: E15 means lower prices at the pump, stronger demand for Iowa corn, and energy made right here at home. Iowans made themselves heard — and we’re holding Washington accountable to get it done.
