Six months ago, I took the oath of office to serve as your Member of Congress. With that in mind, I wanted to take a minute to give you a quick update on what I’ve been working on and get your feedback.
I’m a sixth-generation Iowan, and it’s the honor of my lifetime to serve you in Congress. I’ve served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 20 years, and now, my new mission is fighting for Iowa in Congress. I’m working to improve our economy, support agriculture, hold our government accountable, keep our country safe, and help Iowa’s families.
So far, that work has included:
- Hosting farm bill listening sessions across our community
- Balancing the federal budget with a proposed Constitutional amendment
- Crafting legislation to expand parental leave for Reservists and National Guard members
- Making it easier for foster kids to find their forever home
- Protecting man’s best friend—dogs—from abusive puppy mills
- Curbing corruption by preventing Members of Congress from trading stocks and lobbying
- Combatting threats from China
- And much more.
My top priority, though, is serving you. To do that, I want to understand what issues you care about the most. Will you please take just two minutes to fill out this one-question survey ⬇️
