I introduced new legislation to prevent Members of Congress from getting pay raises while Iowans are pinching pennies to make ends meet as a result of record-high inflation:
The No Pay Raise Act ends the automatic pay raises that Members of Congress are authorized by law to receive every year.

This year alone, Members of Congress are on track to receive a pay raise of more than $7,000 each.

This bill would save taxpayers more than $3 million per year.
