No President should ever choose optics over the security and safety of American citizens. But that’s what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did in Afghanistan. Even worse? They refuse to accept responsibility for their role in the failed withdrawal.
I won’t allow that. That’s why I voted his week to hold the Administration accountable for their multiple failures during the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to the loss of thirteen U.S. servicemembers and many Americans, friends, and allies left behind.
My promise to every veteran, family member, ally, and friend is this: I won’t stop fighting to hold this Administration responsible for their disastrous withdrawal.
