🎙️ Talking Iowa Common Sense

Across Iowa, families are focused on building their futures: saving for a first home, making sure the family doctor is there when they need one, and raising kids in safe communities. But too often, Washington gets distracted by the political fight of the day and loses sight of those priorities.

We’ve seen it everywhere:

🏡 First-time buyers squeezed out of owning a home

🌽 Homegrown Iowa energy delayed instead of helping families fill up the minivan

🏥 Health care dollars lost to fraud instead of reaching patients

🚨 Border chaos that weakens enforcement and threatens community safety

That’s why I’m working to bring Iowa priorities to D.C. — cutting taxes, reducing housing costs, backing the blue, securing the border, and making life more affordable for families.

That’s the standard I’m pushing for in Congress: fewer excuses, real results, and a government that works more like Iowa. I laid out this approach on Iowa Press on Friday. Watch the interview here or below. ⬇️

Here’s what that looks like in action:

đź’µ Delivering the largest tax cut in American history so families keep more of their hard-earned money

🏠 Overhauling outdated housing rules to unlock the path to homeownership

🔎 Cracking down on fraud and fixing broken health care systems

🌽 Fighting for year-round E15 to lower prices and strengthen energy independence

⚖️ Restoring law and order at the border while protecting legal immigration

Different challenges, one clear goal: Make Washington work more like Iowa.

Bottom Line: Washington tends to drift out of touch — Iowa never does. I’ll keep fighting to bring Iowa’s commonsense solutions to our nation’s capital and hold D.C. accountable to deliver real results for the families that call our state home.
