WATCH: Nunn Hosts Small Business Roundtable, Discusses Cutting Costs and Burdensome Red Tape

WEST DES MOINES, IA Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) yesterday joined Everett Woodel Jr., Acting Chief Counsel for the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Advocacy, SBA Great Plains Regional Administrator Brad Zaun, and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for a roundtable with Iowa small business owners focused on lowering costs, cutting red tape, and building on recent wins for Main Street.

Full details on the roundtable are available here. B-roll is available here and below.

“Small businesses should be focused on serving their customers, creating jobs, and growing the economy, not spending their time and money filling out paperwork for Washington,” said Rep. Nunn. “We delivered permanent tax relief in the Working Families Tax Cuts and took burdensome reporting requirements off the backs of Main Street businesses, but there’s more work to do. Today, we heard directly from the people signing the front of the paycheck about what’s working and where Washington can get out of the way. I’ll keep working with Iowa small business owners, Republicans and Democrats alike, to lower costs, cut red tape, and make it easier to build and grow a business here at home.”

B-roll from the roundtable is available here and photos are available here.
